RIDGE PTA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

MINUTES

September 2005

  1. Meeting called to order by Co-President, Sharon Weil at 7:15 PM.

  2. Introductions of officers.

  4. Treasurers Report read by Diane Henricksen - $16, 045.18 as of 8-31-05

  5. SEPTA Meeting 9-27-05 MS Library

  6. Jeanne Knudsen made a motion to pass the proposed budget for upcoming school year.  Motion was seconded by Lisa Cresser.

  7. Dr. Gerstenlauer discussed enrollment.  There are 767 enrolled to date.  The average class size is as follows: K-21, 1-23, 2-23, 3-25, 4-24.  One new special education class has been added, bringing the total enrollment to 48.

  8. Teachers Amy Sebol, Learning Specialist and Carol Lendor, Speech, discussed Alternative Learning Techniques.
